I really haven't had the time or energy to do much around here lately.  This is the first time I've been on for a few weeks now.  When classes get going I will have work to post.  But right now they're just getting started.  Not much to say really, just that I don't really know how often I'll be around the next couple weeks.  I am also in a really bad artistic dry spell, so hopefully I'll come out of that soon.

I learned how to make hemp jewelry and have been making it like crazy lately.  I only really know one way of knotting right now, though.  I am trying to find different ways, but it looks like I will have to get a book because the internet is not proving very useful.  I also need more beads.  I have some basic wood ones and an assortment of glass colored beads.  But my glass beads are really really crappy.  When I opened the box up I found a bunch of broken beads, some that were just hunks of plastic, I found a small rock, I was lucky if I found two of any of the same bead, basically only one third of the box was remotely useful.  What a rip o

This weekend Adam and I went camping up North.  It was a practice run.  At least, that's what we decided after we wimped out and came home early.  We didn't go to a campgound, but we found a site near a little lake that was nice, except the people before us had left a bunch of trash. We built a fire and made smores and everything, then went to bed in our tent.  Shortly after laying down, we heard some rustling and the noise of something circling our tent.  Adam told me not to move or make any noise, so I freaked out, of course, thinking that must mean it was something to be afraid of.  Well, after a minute we didn't hear it anymore, so Adam g
